Temperament Therapy
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart.”
— Jeremiah 1:5

Have you ever wondered what lies beneath the thoughts, feelings, and actions that shape who you are? It’s a question many ask, yet few truly understand. Without insight into our emotions and behaviors, we can feel lost yearning for change but uncertain where to start. The truth is, everything you need to thrive is already within you. God, who gave His only Son to the world, also created you with unique gifts and strengths meant to guide you closer to Him and help you live in a way that reflects Christ.
Temperament therapy offers a path to understand yourself better, unlocking the potential to improve your well-being and relationships. By learning how to recognize and interpret your emotional responses, you take a crucial first step toward lasting mental health.

What is temperament therapy?
Temperament therapy is grounded in the belief that each person is divinely designed with a specific nature. This nature can be understood through three main components:

Temperament (Soul) - refers to the innate part of you, your God-given nature, that shapes how you relate to others, your environment, and God. There are five primary temperament types.
Character - is formed by how your temperament interacts with life experiences and your surroundings, solidifying certain behaviors and perceptions.
Personality - is the set of traits and behaviors you consciously choose to show the world.
To identify your true temperament, we use the Arno Profile System (APS) - a biblically-based assessment that takes just a few minutes to complete. It provides deep insight into your emotional needs, strengths, and relational patterns in three core areas.
The most essential takeaway is this: your temperament, the foundation of who you are, does not change, it is a gift from God. When your lifestyle, career, or social roles conflict with your true temperament, it can lead to internal conflict, dissatisfaction, and spiritual stagnation.
Through temperament therapy you can uncover your God-given nature and realign your life with it, bringing greater peace, purpose, and personal growth.
